While others had turned away from this difficult job, the people from Thor McAndrew were positive and thoughtful about the repair and the timeline. They arrived on time, were very professional and our ceiling looks beautiful. I would highly recommend them and be happy to use their services again.

They did a wonderful job. Showed up on time each of the 3 days. They needed to replace a section of drywall at the peak of our ceiling and the work was perfect. Cleaned up when the job was completed. They even removed a couple of shelves which were situated high up on the walls which we didn't want and we didn't have a ladder high enough to remove them ourselves. They also removed a couple of hanging plant brackets from our fireplace. These guys are great. So pleasant and professional. We would recommend them to anyone.

They were really, really good. They even mopped the floor when they were done! I have referred friends to them without hesitation. I cannot say enough good things about them!

Amazing, Wonderful, Spectacular! I could not be more pleased with the overall experience. Their quality of work, friendliness and professionalism is what you would expect from any contractor. I had two other quotes but ultimately choose McAndrew Construction for their price and amount of time it would take for completion. During the estimate, I showed them our needs and the other two contractors said there were many problem areas and that they would have to do the whole wall not just the sections that needed to be done. The "problem areas" were never an issue for McAndrew Construction, they didn't even mention it. One of the contractor estimated 4 days for completion. The whole job took less than 6 hours for McAndrew Construction to complete. They arrived before the scheduled time of 8 am and got started right away. The brothers were both extremely professional. Even though I offered snacks, water, the dining table to eat their lunch, use the bathroom, and listen to music, they kindly declined. They even took phone calls outside. The quality of work is perfect. We had plaster walls and new drywall, with that, the walls are often uneven. That was not a problem for them to even out, while another quote said it would be. All the sections that required smooth texture is perfectly smooth! All the sections that required texture match perfectly! We also had another patch job in our ceiling and parts of the wall that was not part of the initial quote. The brothers were so sweet and generous that they didn't even charge extra. That was the cherry on top. The recommendation after the mud dries is to go back with caulking for clean edges. Even though they gave me two tubes of caulking and gave me a demonstration on how to apply it, I honestly don't think I need it. They did such a good job that the edges already look so clean and crisp. From beginning to end, it was such a pleasant experience. I would highly highly recommend McAndrew Construction for all of your drywall needs. Nobody can beat their price or quality!

After another "contractor" left us in the middle of a job, we couldn't have been more pleased with the results we got from Thor McAndrew Construction. The guys were extremely professional and I knew from the moment they arrived that we had made an excellent choice. The work was impeccable and although I hope I never need to have drywall repaired again, I know exactly where my first call will be when I do! Thanks guys!

He came out the same day I called him. He was very knowledgeable; he knew his stuff and was to the point. The estimated price was $2800. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.

It went extremely well. Eric and Cody are true professionals in all aspects of their work, from their professionalism when providing an estimate to their final product. The work performed exceeding my expectations. Eric and Cody arrived when they said they would and completed as much as they could each day. If you're looking for drywall work, there's no need to look any further. I vetted numerous companies when trying to select a contractor. I plan to use Thor on all subsequent drywall work. Thor and his son came out to provide an estimate on a drywall repair job. They came out later the same day I phoned for an estimate. They provided me with a quote of $750.00 (I used an Angie's List 5% discount) to replace damaged drywall, resurface and match the texture of the original surface. The day the work was scheduled to be performed, Thor and his two sons arrived as scheduled to complete the work. Thor provided work directions to his two sons and left them to complete the job. They secured the area, covered the floors, ceiling and walls to contain any debris and began their work. It was a small job that began at 8:00 AM and was completed at 11:30 AM. Upon completion, they showed me their work for approval. I was very pleased with the final work. His two sons work well together and they take pride in their work. They matched the original textured surface almost identical. Their bid was slightly higher than others but I saw the quality of work they provided in several photos on their website and read previous posts. I believe in paying for quality work and they did not disappoint. Thanks, guys!

Promptly arrived & did estimate. I agreed to have work done but needed to find someone home during the week so I postponed the work. By the time I settled on a date, it was 2 weeks out, and no Friday open so we negogiated a week-end date. Completed in 3-4 hours. Room looks great!

This company did a fantastic job. The ceiling was in horrible shape with pieces of old paint and plaster dangling over the table. They scraped it all off down to the original base plaster which had had cracks and minor water damage. As I understood the explanation, they put a seal on the original plaster then put a nylon webbing over that to keep the new plaster from cracking. They then put four new layers of plaster on the ceiling. It looks terrific and is incredibly smooth. Unfortunately they don't paint so I have to get another contractor for that but they did explain what the painter should do to insure it's done right. We agreed on a 8am starting time and they arrived before 7:30am. The first thing they did was cover all the walls and curtains with plastic as well as the floor. They also covered the service porch floor to the back door so it would get any mess. When they were done and I went to check it out, I was amazed at how clean everything was. I figured I was going to have to mop the floor after they left but it was clean as a whistle and there wasn't any dust or debris that had gotten into the main kitchen. Even the curtains were still clean. I really, really appreciated that. Too bad other contractors aren't as fastidious about clean up. The two young men that did the work (sons of the owner Thor McAndrew) were very nice and friendly. I thanked them for taking on such a small job and they said they loved small jobs. A couple of other contractors weren't even interested. I've got other work that needs to be done and you can bet I will call this company again.

I'd give this company 10 stars if I could! I called Thor McAndrew Construction following some unfinished tenant improvements in an office I recently leased. Plain and simple, the landlord failed to uphold his part of the deal and left me to fix the issue at my own cost. The McAndrew brothers arrived earlier than their appointment time and truly seemed to care about my concerns. They took their time to listen to what I needed done, and above all, they were respectful of the fact that I was having to foot the bill for the work. Cody offered me several options, and when I expressed my anxiety about the extent of the work and its overall cost, he took time out of his own busy schedule to do more research and offer me less expensive options without compromising the quality of the job...all this before even being hired to do the job! Words cannot express how professional, courteous, honest, and considerate the McAndrew brothers are. Quality company with an excellent work ethic...talk about a breath of fresh air!

Went just fine, they showed up early (0730 both days) with everything they needed to do the job. They have large trucks plus large trailers that carry all sorts of tools and equipment. Drywall was hung, taped, and textured. Work was completed in 2 days. This is a family organization (dad and sons). They did not dally and worked straight through taking only lunch on day 1.

Let me tell you these guys are FABULOUS! This is a family owned, and operated company that does dry wall, and they do it perfectly. My painters were going on and on about how good the texture was, and they couldn't even see the seams in the drywall! The young brothers were prompt to the second, professional, accommodated my need for heads up to secure my dog, polite, and my kitchen, which was being rebuilt after a leak, was cleaner when they left than when they arrived-- If you don't know, dry wall installation involves a LOT of dust and debris, but you would never have known by the looks of things when they were finished! I would recommend them to anyone who needs dry wall replaced, or repaired.

Thor and his sons were on time and kept the job sight area very clean and neat. The work done was excellent and I have know complaints. When these guys were done with all of the work, my house seemed cleaner than when they began. They placed plastic sheeting up to limit any dust due to the drywall work. After having some poor drywall work done in the past, I believe you get what you pay for when you have drywall repairs done. Thor was one my highest bids but they were well worth it in my opinion.

We have used this company multiple times for drywall installation and they do not disappoint. They are fast, efficient and fair priced. Don't hesitate to call them for your drywall projects!

Exceptional work. Cody and Eric McAndrew are professional, kind and extremely hard workers. The work they did was done on time and looks absolutely amazing. I had 1/2 my house drywalled and can't wait to have them back to do more. They drywalled ceilings and walls for me. I am so happy to come home and look at these walls and would recommend them to anyone who wants the best!

Thor responded quickly to my email request for an estimate. He arrived on time and was very positive (we are in the midst of kitchen/bath reno & it's chaos in my house!). He was really thorough in his estimate, asked what we wanted to do with specific elements of the house, offered some great suggestions, and gave me an estimate on the spot. He listened and showed me how they could make my plan happen. He even clarified that we wore face masks when we did the demo because of the lead & asbestos in the walls (old house). His estimate was just a bit above what we had budgeted- we're reworking our budget to see if we can make it work. Super nice guy, totally knows what he's talking about, seems to do high quality work.

They were prompt, very professional and efficient. The work was done quickly and now it is hard to tell the old from the new. Perfect match on the texture coat. They did such a good job I recommended them to my sister for some patch work she needs. Thanks guys!!

Thor McAndrew did an amazing job drywalling my garage. They made my garage look like the inside of the house. Absolutely great. Cody and Eric, the two brothers who operate the company, were awesome from the very beginning when I called to get an estimate. Here's how it went beginning to end: 1) Phone call - answered and set appointment for estimate (same day) 2) Appointment for Estimate - on time and professional 3) Scheduled Job for 8:00am - arrived at 7:55am 4) Prep work - masked off and draped all work areas 5) The Job - Great, you would never know I had 18 holes in my walls/ceilings! 6) Clean up - Thorough and complete...like they were never here I probably shouldn't say this in a public form, but I had small 2 areas that were not quoted on during the estimate and the fixed them for free (don't tell them I shared that!). These guys did a great job, I would highly recommend them.

The drywall installers arrived at the start time we had agreed upon. The went to work promptly and efficiently. After about 7 hours, I had beautiful new walls ready to paint.

Where do I start? These guys are absolutely amazing. Truly pros at what they do. The quality of work is the best I've seen yet. They were extremely accommodating while working within the schedule. Their pricing was more than fair, considering the level of work they performed. They were courteous when the job was completed by cleaning up after themselves. They never missed an appointment, always showing up when they promised, and on time. No drama when it came to adding additional fees that went beyond the agreed scope of the project. Thor McAndrew was a referral from the company doing our bathroom remodel. What a great referral it was. We had demo'd our master bath down to the studs and these guys came in and made it look sterling! They showed up when they said they would, completed the days work when they said they would and cleaned up each day. The clean up and prep was important to me as the person who did the demo work did not put down any type of protective barrier on our floors and we had drywall dust for days. These guys made it look easy and really seemed to take pride and joy in the exceptional work they were doing. They went above and beyond to make our bathroom look great and functional. They will now be our go to folks for anything drywall related! Thanks Guys!!!

Thor Construction patched and textured a hole in my ceiling and touched up another patch job by another dry wall company. The original company I used did such a poor job and told me that they couldn't patch the hole that Thor Construction ended up fixing for me. Thor is very punctual and their quality of work is excellent. They are very careful with their prep work even before starting. They take care to not dirty or damage other items near the work area.

A fire sprinkler burst in our attic and flooded multiple rooms in our home. Once the demolition was done, we began the daunting task of finding people to put it back together. I reached out to several drywall companies with long waiting lists. The McAndrew Brothers responded within hours of my inquiry. They were very professional and timely scheduling an appointment. They arrived on time to inspect the ceiling, closet, and wall areas. Within 20 minutes, they wrote up a detailed estimate. We told them we would get back to them but ended up chasing them out the driveway since we were so impressed with their professionalism. They scheduled the work within a week. The work was a perfect match, high quality and clean. They are skilled at their craft and EXTREMELY professional. I highly recommend Thor McAndrews for drywall work.

Cody and Eric McAndrew continue to be the best drywall contractors in town. They just finished drywalling our foyer ceiling, master bedroom ceiling, shower ceiling and master bathroom wall. This is the second time we've used McAndrew Construction and Drywall, and the drywall work is perfect again. Not only is the work excellent, but so is their pricing-very, very fair. We've used over 5 different speciality subcontractors for our remodel, and they, Cody and Eric, have been the absolute best to work with.
