Fantastic company to do business with, extremely professional. Recently had them do several drywall/plaster repairs in our home with great results. They were extremely careful to not get any dirt/dust etc anywhere, they even vacuumed the areas they had done work in. We are truly impressed with their work and the finished product. Will be sure to use them again if needed. Recently needed additional drywall/plaster repair work done and they were exceptional once again!

Cody and Eric McAndrew continue to be the best drywall contractors in town. They just finished drywalling our foyer ceiling, master bedroom ceiling, shower ceiling and master bathroom wall. This is the second time we've used McAndrew Construction and Drywall, and the drywall work is perfect again. Not only is the work excellent, but so is their pricing-very, very fair. We've used over 5 different speciality subcontractors for our remodel, and they, Cody and Eric, have been the absolute best to work with. If you want your walls or ceilings to look absolutely great, at a reasonable price, call Cody and Eric. We highly recommend them.

Thor did a fantastic job. They were on time and very professional throughout the whole process. They patched up several holes in the ceiling and matched the texture perfectly. It all blended in perfectly and I could not be happier.

Thank you Thor McAndrew for being professional and affordable! We are doing numerous construction work on our home following flooding from a broken pipe and I hit the jackpot with these drywallers. I called for a quote and they came out on time with no issues and went through the house listening to what I needed and measuring away, then they supplied me with my quote on the spot when they were finished. The quote was a little bit too general (not detailed) but in the end it didn't matter. I called them a few days later after choosing them over others and we scheduled an appointment and they showed up on time. They (Cody and his brother) were extremely professional and while they were not chatty the were definitely warm and friendly. They worked diligently and stay focused for the 2 days it took to complete the job. I swear they did not stop for anything... not coffee, water, nothing! They seemed to never tire and they never needed anything, bringing all their own supplies and took nothing more than a few very short breaks during their hard work. They took great care to keep everything covered and clean including putting sheets down over any carpeting and even vacuumed and mopped the floor when they completed the job. I would definitely use these guys again and recommend them as well. My only complaint would be that they have a minimum of $500 so I can't use them for very small jobs in the future... darn it.

If you want the best guys for drywall and plaster repair, look no further than Thor McAndrew Construction. We have a 1926 craftsman farmhouse that had a lot of ceiling and wall damage due to structural modifications that we had to make. The McAndrew brothers came in to repair all of the cracks in the wall plaster, and to make the ceiling a smooth texture to match the original, since it was very lumpy and had exposed lath. They were very responsive, polite, and gave us a detailed quote for the job. The results of their work are fantastic! True artisans, the ceiling is completely flat and smooth, the walls look original, and look like new. I will not consider hiring anyone else for this type of work in the future. Stop your search here with the McAndrew brothers- you won't be disappointed.

From the initial call, Erik and Cody were fantastic. Came out for a same-day estimate, completed the work true to their pricing. Extremely nice, honest, professional gentlemen that did a fantastic job. I'd highly recommend them.

Thor Construction patched and textured a hole in my ceiling and touched up another patch job by another dry wall company. The original company I used did such a poor job and told me that they couldn't patch the hole that Thor Construction ended up fixing for me. Thor is very punctual and their quality of work is excellent. They are very careful with their prep work even before starting. They take care to not dirty or damage other items near the work area.

I'd give this company 10 stars if I could! I called Thor McAndrew Construction following some unfinished tenant improvements in an office I recently leased. Plain and simple, the landlord failed to uphold his part of the deal and left me to fix the issue at my own cost. The McAndrew brothers arrived earlier than their appointment time and truly seemed to care about my concerns. They took their time to listen to what I needed done, and above all, they were respectful of the fact that I was having to foot the bill for the work. Cody offered me several options, and when I expressed my anxiety about the extent of the work and its overall cost, he took time out of his own busy schedule to do more research and offer me less expensive options without compromising the quality of the job...all this before even being hired to do the job! Words cannot express how professional, courteous, honest, and considerate the McAndrew brothers are. Quality company with an excellent work ethic...talk about a breath of fresh air!

We are in process of master bedroom and bath reno. I had asked these guys for some help several years ago and was impressed with their honesty and help. I reached out to them for our project and they were responsive and came up with fantastic design ideas and created a custom closet in our master. Their work ethic is top notch. Their demeanor and professionalism is unmatched. I am beyond thrilled with the work they did and highly advise if you need their expertise you will not be disappointed. Cody and Eric! The best!

These gentle giants were so professional. I had them repair drywall in my home after it had been re-piped. Quite a job. They covered the floor so their mess was contained and they cleaned up after themselves - even repaired the "popcorn" ceiling so that patch looks just like the rest. They even got along well with my dog. 5 star service!

Thor responded quickly to my email request for an estimate. He arrived on time and was very positive (we are in the midst of kitchen/bath reno & it's chaos in my house!). He was really thorough in his estimate, asked what we wanted to do with specific elements of the house, offered some great suggestions, and gave me an estimate on the spot. He listened and showed me how they could make my plan happen. He even clarified that we wore face masks when we did the demo because of the lead & asbestos in the walls (old house). His estimate was just a bit above what we had budgeted- we're reworking our budget to see if we can make it work. Super nice guy, totally knows what he's talking about, seems to do high quality work.

Amazing, Wonderful, Spectacular! I could not be more pleased with the overall experience. Their quality of work, friendliness and professionalism is what you would expect from any contractor. I had two other quotes but ultimately choose McAndrew Construction for their price and amount of time it would take for completion. During the estimate, I showed them our needs and the other two contractors said there were many problem areas and that they would have to do the whole wall not just the sections that needed to be done. The "problem areas" were never an issue for McAndrew Construction, they didn't even mention it. One of the contractor estimated 4 days for completion. The whole job took less than 6 hours for McAndrew Construction to complete. They arrived before the scheduled time of 8 am and got started right away. The brothers were both extremely professional. Even though I offered snacks, water, the dining table to eat their lunch, use the bathroom, and listen to music, they kindly declined. They even took phone calls outside. The quality of work is perfect. We had plaster walls and new drywall, with that, the walls are often uneven. That was not a problem for them to even out, while another quote said it would be. All the sections that required smooth texture is perfectly smooth! All the sections that required texture match perfectly! We also had another patch job in our ceiling and parts of the wall that was not part of the initial quote. The brothers were so sweet and generous that they didn't even charge extra. That was the cherry on top. The recommendation after the mud dries is to go back with caulking for clean edges. Even though they gave me two tubes of caulking and gave me a demonstration on how to apply it, I honestly don't think I need it. They did such a good job that the edges already look so clean and crisp. From beginning to end, it was such a pleasant experience. I would highly highly recommend McAndrew Construction for all of your drywall needs. Nobody can beat their price or quality!

Thor McAndrew Drywall had repaired some drywall in my garage last year because of a leaking water heater. I was very pleased with their work and so I didn't hesitate to contact them again when I needed more drywall repair due to a leaking roof. They kept me updated with their progress. They were punctual and very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends. They do great work!

He came out the same day I called him. He was very knowledgeable; he knew his stuff and was to the point. The estimated price was $2800. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.

They did an amazing job putting up drywall in my garage! When I asked for a quote, they showed up the same day and were very professional. They showed up at 7am on the dot and got to work. I highly recommend their work!

These guys are excellent. They arrive on schedule, cover everything to protect your house, work quietly, are very honest and polite, and do really great work. The did a great job patching our walls after a rewire and were very respectful compared with others who don't take care to cover up parts of the house where they are working. And if they do have any issues, they clean up so you don't even think they were there, until of course you look at your walls and see their good work. Highly recommend. So happy they are located in Ontario.

This company did a fantastic job. The ceiling was in horrible shape with pieces of old paint and plaster dangling over the table. They scraped it all off down to the original base plaster which had had cracks and minor water damage. As I understood the explanation, they put a seal on the original plaster then put a nylon webbing over that to keep the new plaster from cracking. They then put four new layers of plaster on the ceiling. It looks terrific and is incredibly smooth. Unfortunately they don't paint so I have to get another contractor for that but they did explain what the painter should do to insure it's done right. We agreed on a 8am starting time and they arrived before 7:30am. The first thing they did was cover all the walls and curtains with plastic as well as the floor. They also covered the service porch floor to the back door so it would get any mess. When they were done and I went to check it out, I was amazed at how clean everything was. I figured I was going to have to mop the floor after they left but it was clean as a whistle and there wasn't any dust or debris that had gotten into the main kitchen. Even the curtains were still clean. I really, really appreciated that. Too bad other contractors aren't as fastidious about clean up. The two young men that did the work (sons of the owner Thor McAndrew) were very nice and friendly. I thanked them for taking on such a small job and they said they loved small jobs. A couple of other contractors weren't even interested. I've got other work that needs to be done and you can bet I will call this company again.

I was happy with the work performed; would hire again.

They did a wonderful job. Showed up on time each of the 3 days. They needed to replace a section of drywall at the peak of our ceiling and the work was perfect. Cleaned up when the job was completed. They even removed a couple of shelves which were situated high up on the walls which we didn't want and we didn't have a ladder high enough to remove them ourselves. They also removed a couple of hanging plant brackets from our fireplace. These guys are great. So pleasant and professional. We would recommend them to anyone.

I had new drywall thru garage and house from previous water damage and the results are spectacular after orange peel they applied looks brand new! Reasonable prices. They are polite clean and neat. They are punctual as well.

Great, Fast, and professional.

Went just fine, they showed up early (0730 both days) with everything they needed to do the job. They have large trucks plus large trailers that carry all sorts of tools and equipment. Drywall was hung, taped, and textured. Work was completed in 2 days. This is a family organization (dad and sons). They did not dally and worked straight through taking only lunch on day 1.

The guys were on time, friendly, clean, and did excellent work. I highly recommend and would definitely call them again. I only wish they painted & hung doors so the job could have been completed all at one time. But the work they did do was spot on.

It went well. It was completed over three partial days since they had to spray for mold and allow to dry. They kept me updated as to the progress and were punctual and friendly. This is the second job that they have done at the house and I am very pleased with their work! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends!

Thor McAndrew was a referral from the company doing our bathroom remodel. What a great referral it was. We had demo'd our master bath down to the studs and these guys came in and made it look sterling! They showed up when they said they would, completed the days work when they said they would and cleaned up each day. The clean up and prep was important to me as the person who did the demo work did not put down any type of protective barrier on our floors and we had drywall dust for days. These guys made it look easy and really seemed to take pride and joy in the exceptional work they were doing. They went above and beyond to make our bathroom look great and functional. They will now be our go to folks for anything drywall related! Thanks Guys!!!

The provider was very prompt and did excellent work. They arrived exactly when they said they would be arriving and worked steadily throughour both days they were here. When they departed after working each day they left the house immaculate. I n fact they left the hardwood floors cleaner than it was when they arrived. While the price was quite a bit higher than another bid I received from someone not affiliated with Angie's List I decided to hire Thor McAndrew because of their affiliation and I am very happy I did.

Called Cody and Eric for an estimate to repair and texture ceilings in four rooms after a repipe and having the acoustic ceilings removed. They came by that afternoon to give the estimate. Given the difficulty we had getting contractors to return our calls, that was quite a change. The price they quoted was fair and reasonable. The job took the amount of time they indicated and they showed up when they said they would each day. They pointed out some issues created by the repipe contractor's plasterer and corrected them. They also patched an area that wasn't part of the original estimate so that the texture would be uniform. They cleaned every day and did a good job with the final cleaning. We were very satisfied with the job and would definitely recommend them.
