It went well. It was completed over three partial days since they had to spray for mold and allow to dry. They kept me updated as to the progress and were punctual and friendly. This is the second job that they have done at the house and I am very pleased with their work! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends!

This is a great company. The only problem was that the price that we paid was their minimum and that is why I gave them a B. Our house is on the market and we were removing some coax cables but they twisted up with our TV cables in the living room area. When we pulled on them a 30 sq inch section of the ceiling caved in on top of our TV. I called a reapable dry waller that was recommended for his work, but he was totally booked up and with the house on the market we did not have the time to wait due to showings. Thor Construction was at the top of Angie's List. Thor came out and gave us the estimate that week and they repaired it on Sunday. The work was accomplished within the time quoted and it was excellent; I could not have asked for better results. The ceiling looks better today than it did before the work was done. We are very pleased.

They were prompt, very professional and efficient. The work was done quickly and now it is hard to tell the old from the new. Perfect match on the texture coat. They did such a good job I recommended them to my sister for some patch work she needs. Thanks guys!!

They did an amazing job putting up drywall in my garage! When I asked for a quote, they showed up the same day and were very professional. They showed up at 7am on the dot and got to work. I highly recommend their work!

Other than the color (for which we'll have a painter come in later) you can't even tell where the hole was. They worked quick & clean.

Exceptional work. Cody and Eric McAndrew are professional, kind and extremely hard workers. The work they did was done on time and looks absolutely amazing. I had 1/2 my house drywalled and can't wait to have them back to do more. They drywalled ceilings and walls for me. I am so happy to come home and look at these walls and would recommend them to anyone who wants the best!

He was punctual with the appointment . He wrote the proposal right away very professional The project did not go thru because something came up . But he was very polite n understanding on my questions. I would ask him for another proposal and call him again if I have a drywall job to be done

Cody and Eric McAndrew continue to be the best drywall contractors in town. They just finished drywalling our foyer ceiling, master bedroom ceiling, shower ceiling and master bathroom wall. This is the second time we've used McAndrew Construction and Drywall, and the drywall work is perfect again. Not only is the work excellent, but so is their pricing-very, very fair. We've used over 5 different speciality subcontractors for our remodel, and they, Cody and Eric, have been the absolute best to work with. If you want your walls or ceilings to look absolutely great, at a reasonable price, call Cody and Eric. We highly recommend them.

Arrived promptly, sealed off work area to keep dust away from area. Patched hole and texturized ceiling. They cleaned up area. Quick, clean and professional. You can't even see the are that is patched. You can Will use them again. Will refer to friends.

After another "contractor" left us in the middle of a job, we couldn't have been more pleased with the results we got from Thor McAndrew Construction. The guys were extremely professional and I knew from the moment they arrived that we had made an excellent choice. The work was impeccable and although I hope I never need to have drywall repaired again, I know exactly where my first call will be when I do! Thanks guys!

This business gets a 5 star! I highly recommend them for any drywall needs. This is their speciality. I had new drywall thru garage and house from previous water damage and the results are spectacular after orange peel they applied looks brand new! Reasonable prices. They are polite clean and neat. They are punctual as well.

We had a major water leak in an upstairs bathroom that required the removal of a section of wall as well as a large section of the ceiling downstairs. We were extremely concerned that the repair would match the existing surface. We called Thor after seeing his reviews on Angie's List and he came out to give us an estimate within the hour. He had his sons remove the area he marked and allowed the space to dry for about 4 weeks. He is very experienced in dealing with this type of repair and I'm certainly glad we called him. They arrived promptly at the appointed time to do the repair. The work was done in about 7 hours and the texture of the ceiling is absolutely perfect. We were afraid that it would be possible to see the new section, but they blended it in perfectly. We cannot say enough about them: prompt, highly professional, courteous and efficient, masked the area perfectly and left us a brand new ceiling, undetectable from before the flood. We would definitely hire him again.

Let me tell you these guys are FABULOUS! This is a family owned, and operated company that does dry wall, and they do it perfectly. My painters were going on and on about how good the texture was, and they couldn't even see the seams in the drywall! The young brothers were prompt to the second, professional, accommodated my need for heads up to secure my dog, polite, and my kitchen, which was being rebuilt after a leak, was cleaner when they left than when they arrived-- If you don't know, dry wall installation involves a LOT of dust and debris, but you would never have known by the looks of things when they were finished! I would recommend them to anyone who needs dry wall replaced, or repaired.

Thor McAndrew did an amazing job drywalling my garage. They made my garage look like the inside of the house. They texture on the walls were so evenly applied, that I can't believe how great it looks! These guys are courteous and professional. These guys were great. I called for a quote on the weekend and they came by first thing on Monday morning, provided a reasonable written quote and told me they could do it all in one day. When I jokingly asked if they could start the next morning (which was Christmas Eve) they said yes. They arrived early but respectfully waited outside until I invited them in to start. They were fast, efficient, super clean and did an excellent job. When they got inside one wall that turned out to be more complicated than originally thought, I was afraid it would be more expensive and take longer than the one day but they were able to finish, clean up and be out of the house by 4:00 pm. Wow! Professional, personable, and quality workmanship all describe these guys.

He is a general contractor. I was very happy with Thor McAndrew Construction. They were fantastic. They will also be doing my bathroom.

Thor and his sons were on time and kept the job sight area very clean and neat. The work done was excellent and I have know complaints. When these guys were done with all of the work, my house seemed cleaner than when they began. They placed plastic sheeting up to limit any dust due to the drywall work. After having some poor drywall work done in the past, I believe you get what you pay for when you have drywall repairs done. Thor was one my highest bids but they were well worth it in my opinion.

The guys were on time, friendly, clean, and did excellent work. I highly recommend and would definitely call them again. I only wish they painted & hung doors so the job could have been completed all at one time. But the work they did do was spot on.

He came out the same day I called him. He was very knowledgeable; he knew his stuff and was to the point. The estimated price was $2800. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.

A fire sprinkler burst in our attic and flooded multiple rooms in our home. Once the demolition was done, we began the daunting task of finding people to put it back together. I reached out to several drywall companies with long waiting lists. The McAndrew Brothers responded within hours of my inquiry. They were very professional and timely scheduling an appointment. They arrived on time to inspect the ceiling, closet, and wall areas. Within 20 minutes, they wrote up a detailed estimate. We told them we would get back to them but ended up chasing them out the driveway since we were so impressed with their professionalism. They scheduled the work within a week. The work was a perfect match, high quality and clean. They are skilled at their craft and EXTREMELY professional. I highly recommend Thor McAndrews for drywall work.

The provider was very prompt and did excellent work. They arrived exactly when they said they would be arriving and worked steadily throughour both days they were here. When they departed after working each day they left the house immaculate. I n fact they left the hardwood floors cleaner than it was when they arrived. While the price was quite a bit higher than another bid I received from someone not affiliated with Angie's List I decided to hire Thor McAndrew because of their affiliation and I am very happy I did.

I was so impressed with these guys. They laid drop cloths all the way downstairs to protect the floors and carpet. They were quiet, respectful, did not get upset if I interrupted to ask a question, checked with me about details and my preferences. They left the job site and my house beautifully clean and the completed work was impeccable.

I'd give this company 10 stars if I could! I called Thor McAndrew Construction following some unfinished tenant improvements in an office I recently leased. Plain and simple, the landlord failed to uphold his part of the deal and left me to fix the issue at my own cost. The McAndrew brothers arrived earlier than their appointment time and truly seemed to care about my concerns. They took their time to listen to what I needed done, and above all, they were respectful of the fact that I was having to foot the bill for the work. Cody offered me several options, and when I expressed my anxiety about the extent of the work and its overall cost, he took time out of his own busy schedule to do more research and offer me less expensive options without compromising the quality of the job...all this before even being hired to do the job! Words cannot express how professional, courteous, honest, and considerate the McAndrew brothers are. Quality company with an excellent work ethic...talk about a breath of fresh air!

Where do I start? These guys are absolutely amazing. Truly pros at what they do. The quality of work is the best I've seen yet. They were extremely accommodating while working within the schedule. Their pricing was more than fair, considering the level of work they performed. They were courteous when the job was completed by cleaning up after themselves. They never missed an appointment, always showing up when they promised, and on time. No drama when it came to adding additional fees that went beyond the agreed scope of the project. These guys are the best. They were very responsive, and we set an appointment for them to come look at the job. They gave us a quote, and stated they were able to start the work within our requested time frame. They took two days to apply four coats of plaster to the ceiling, including sanding/finishing, as well as fixing all of the wall cracks. Extremely polite and detail-oriented, I believe they executed the work like it was their own house. The ceiling turned out perfectly smooth, it looks like it was original. We are going to have them come back in the future for additional work - at this point I would not even consider hiring anyone else, the quality of the work is truly artisan quality.

Erik & Cody must make their father proud. They conduct themselves in a highly professional way and their work is outstanding. When you can't tell a repair was done, that is a sign of an experienced professional. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They reconstructed the bathroom wall framing and drywall in order to install 2 medicine cabinets, repaired the back side of the bathroom wall that had also been damaged, repaired a large drywall hole and assorted small holes in a room being readied for painting.

I consider myself handy around the house until it comes to drywall. I was changing things around in my bathroom and upon evaluation of my initial mudding job, I decided to call someone who actually knew how to work a trowel. I called Thor McAndrew Construction because a previous Angie's List posting mentioned they would do small jobs. For me, it was a huge undertaking, but I think a professional would consider my job small. I gave Thor McAndrew a call and set up an appointment. Erik and Cody arrived before the pre-arranged time. After evaluating the bathroom and attached closet, I asked that my stairway and hallway be added to the bid. I removed the popcorn ceiling and the drywall really looked bad. I was somewhat prepared for the sticker shock, but it was close to what I estimated and I appreciated the details that justified the expense. I would rather have the cost up front then have to deal with project cost overruns after the job starts. I accepted the bid and set up an appointment. Erik and Cody arrived before the 7:30am prearranged time. The surrounding areas were sealed off as good as could be expected and they started the job. The job was completed about 6:00pm and the result was spectacular! The end result exceeded my expectations. I was so impressed, I asked for a bid on my laundry room and second bathroom. My house was a model home and during construction, the wallpaper was applied directly to the drywall. Taking off the wallpaper was impossible without severely damaging the drywall. Erik and Cody arrived a week later and spent another full day at my house. The bathroom and laundry room have never looked better. I am happy that I spent the money to make the improvements to my house. In addition, Erik and Cody cleaned up so well, you would never know they were there. As I scrape the ceilings and pull off the wallpaper, I will call these guys again without reservation.
