It went extremely well. Eric and Cody are true professionals in all aspects of their work, from their professionalism when providing an estimate to their final product. The work performed exceeding my expectations. Eric and Cody arrived when they said they would and completed as much as they could each day. If you're looking for drywall work, there's no need to look any further. I vetted numerous companies when trying to select a contractor. I plan to use Thor on all subsequent drywall work. Cody and Eric McAndrew continue to be the best drywall contractors in town. They just finished drywalling our foyer ceiling, master bedroom ceiling, shower ceiling and master bathroom wall. This is the second time we've used McAndrew Construction and Drywall, and the drywall work is perfect again. Not only is the work excellent, but so is their pricing-very, very fair. We've used over 5 different speciality subcontractors for our remodel, and they, Cody and Eric, have been the absolute best to work with. If you want your walls or ceilings to look absolutely great, at a reasonable price, call Cody and Eric. We highly recommend them.

From the initial call, Erik and Cody were fantastic. Came out for a same-day estimate, completed the work true to their pricing. Extremely nice, honest, professional gentlemen that did a fantastic job. I'd highly recommend them.

It went great. They were very professional but yet friendly. They were on time and very neat and thorough and cleaned up after themselves. Before starting they advised us about our plumbing problem that needed to be done first. We were glad to fix the problem before it became more serious. We would use them again and refer.

Moved or covered everything for us. Plastic sheeting everywhere. There is always dust with this type of project but the prep and work they put into just getting started really saves mess or loss of furniture, flooring, carpets or tile. So very courteous, always on time or have a phone call telling you there plans for the day. We had the plumbing company who did our bath room use their plaster repair person, before the job was even done I called Thor McAndrew Construction in a panic because of the awful job that was done, they came in and rescued the remodel within the day, and I have a beautiful bathroom because of the work they put in. (with no mess).

Thor McAndrew Drywall had repaired some drywall in my garage last year because of a leaking water heater. I was very pleased with their work and so I didn't hesitate to contact them again when I needed more drywall repair due to a leaking roof. They kept me updated with their progress. They were punctual and very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends. They do great work!

He came out the same day I called him. He was very knowledgeable; he knew his stuff and was to the point. The estimated price was $2800. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.

I consider myself handy around the house until it comes to drywall. I was changing things around in my bathroom and upon evaluation of my initial mudding job, I decided to call someone who actually knew how to work a trowel. I called Thor McAndrew Construction because a previous Angie's List posting mentioned they would do small jobs. For me, it was a huge undertaking, but I think a professional would consider my job small. I gave Thor McAndrew a call and set up an appointment. Erik and Cody arrived before the pre-arranged time. After evaluating the bathroom and attached closet, I asked that my stairway and hallway be added to the bid. I removed the popcorn ceiling and the drywall really looked bad. I was somewhat prepared for the sticker shock, but it was close to what I estimated and I appreciated the details that justified the expense. I would rather have the cost up front then have to deal with project cost overruns after the job starts. I accepted the bid and set up an appointment. Erik and Cody arrived before the 7:30am prearranged time. The surrounding areas were sealed off as good as could be expected and they started the job. The job was completed about 6:00pm and the result was spectacular! The end result exceeded my expectations. I was so impressed, I asked for a bid on my laundry room and second bathroom. My house was a model home and during construction, the wallpaper was applied directly to the drywall. Taking off the wallpaper was impossible without severely damaging the drywall. Erik and Cody arrived a week later and spent another full day at my house. The bathroom and laundry room have never looked better. I am happy that I spent the money to make the improvements to my house. In addition, Erik and Cody cleaned up so well, you would never know they were there. As I scrape the ceilings and pull off the wallpaper, I will call these guys again without reservation.

They were prompt, very professional and efficient. The work was done quickly and now it is hard to tell the old from the new. Perfect match on the texture coat. They did such a good job I recommended them to my sister for some patch work she needs. Thanks guys!!

This business gets a 5 star! I highly recommend them for any drywall needs. This is their speciality. I had new drywall thru garage and house from previous water damage and the results are spectacular after orange peel they applied looks brand new! Reasonable prices. They are polite clean and neat. They are punctual as well.

They were really, really good. They even mopped the floor when they were done! I have referred friends to them without hesitation. I cannot say enough good things about them!

Exceptional work. Cody and Eric McAndrew are professional, kind and extremely hard workers. The work they did was done on time and looks absolutely amazing. I had 1/2 my house drywalled and can't wait to have them back to do more. They drywalled ceilings and walls for me. I had dry wall damage inside from a leaking roof. I called and receive an estimate and made an appointment for the repair. Cody explained the process and time of the work. Both Cody and Eric are professional, friendly and personable. They took time to answer any questions I had. I can say they are skilled at their profession. Evident by the quality of work. The area that was fixed matches exactly to the rest of the walls and ceiling. And also I want to mention that others that have seen the work say they did a good/great job. Although I have not used their services yet I was impressed by Cody and his brother by their honesty and professionalism as well Thor their father. I am sure when the time comes I will be happy with their work.

They did an amazing job putting up drywall in my garage! When I asked for a quote, they showed up the same day and were very professional. They showed up at 7am on the dot and got to work. I highly recommend their work!

I called for an estimate and they were able to schedule one very quickly. They were very prompt and gave me an estimate on site to scrape the original plaster popcorn ceilings in our house and then re-texture. They were very friendly and professional. Their estimate was high, which is the main reason that we didn't ultimately hire them.

It went well. It was completed over three partial days since they had to spray for mold and allow to dry. They kept me updated as to the progress and were punctual and friendly. Thor responded quickly to my email request for an estimate. He arrived on time and was very positive (we are in the midst of kitchen/bath reno & it's chaos in my house!). He was really thorough in his estimate, asked what we wanted to do with specific elements of the house, offered some great suggestions, and gave me an estimate on the spot. He listened and showed me how they could make my plan happen. He even clarified that we wore face masks when we did the demo because of the lead & asbestos in the walls (old house). His estimate was just a bit above what we had budgeted- we're reworking our budget to see if we can make it work. Super nice guy, totally knows what he's talking about, seems to do high quality work.

Arrived promptly, sealed off work area to keep dust away from area. Patched hole and texturized ceiling. They cleaned up area. Quick, clean and professional. You can't even see the are that is patched. You can Will use them again. Will refer to friends.

Absolutely no stress, they put down plastic sheeting to cover the marble floors and even clean and mop it afterwards. All the work they have done for us has been great. Can't say enough good about them.

Amazing, Wonderful, Spectacular! I could not be more pleased with the overall experience. Their quality of work, friendliness and professionalism is what you would expect from any contractor. I had two other quotes but ultimately choose McAndrew Construction for their price and amount of time it would take for completion. During the estimate, I showed them our needs and the other two contractors said there were many problem areas and that they would have to do the whole wall not just the sections that needed to be done. The "problem areas" were never an issue for McAndrew Construction, they didn't even mention it. One of the contractor estimated 4 days for completion. The whole job took less than 6 hours for McAndrew Construction to complete. They arrived before the scheduled time of 8 am and got started right away. The brothers were both extremely professional. Even though I offered snacks, water, the dining table to eat their lunch, use the bathroom, and listen to music, they kindly declined. They even took phone calls outside. The quality of work is perfect. We had plaster walls and new drywall, with that, the walls are often uneven. That was not a problem for them to even out, while another quote said it would be. All the sections that required smooth texture is perfectly smooth! All the sections that required texture match perfectly! We also had another patch job in our ceiling and parts of the wall that was not part of the initial quote. The brothers were so sweet and generous that they didn't even charge extra. That was the cherry on top. The recommendation after the mud dries is to go back with caulking for clean edges. Even though they gave me two tubes of caulking and gave me a demonstration on how to apply it, I honestly don't think I need it. They did such a good job that the edges already look so clean and crisp. From beginning to end, it was such a pleasant experience. I would highly highly recommend McAndrew Construction for all of your drywall needs. Nobody can beat their price or quality!

Every morning, Thor McAndrew Construction was at the job site promptly. I was told what to expect throughout the process. These men are professional and thorough and know how to communicate to someone unfamiliar with the process. I did not need to keep calling them to make sure things were on track - they kept me informed and the work was on schedule. Now that the job is finished I can tell you it's beautiful. I even waited to write this in case I noticed something unexpected. I can find no fault with their work and I'm a type A personality who likes control. I'm also confident that if there were any misunderstandings, they would do what they could to make it right. If you don't have damage/repair, you may want to come up with a project just to have it done right and get a new look in your home. Thor McAndrew makes the process as painless as possible, including cleanup. I appreciate working with them. I would recommend Thor McAndrew Construction without reservation.

We had a major water leak in an upstairs bathroom that required the removal of a section of wall as well as a large section of the ceiling downstairs. We were extremely concerned that the repair would match the existing surface. We called Thor after seeing his reviews on Angie's List and he came out to give us an estimate within the hour. He had his sons remove the area he marked and allowed the space to dry for about 4 weeks. He is very experienced in dealing with this type of repair and I'm certainly glad we called him. They arrived promptly at the appointed time to do the repair. The work was done in about 7 hours and the texture of the ceiling is absolutely perfect. We were afraid that it would be possible to see the new section, but they blended it in perfectly. We cannot say enough about them: prompt, highly professional, courteous and efficient, masked the area perfectly and left us a brand new ceiling, undetectable from before the flood. We would definitely hire him again.

These gentle giants were so professional. I had them repair drywall in my home after it had been re-piped. Quite a job. They covered the floor so their mess was contained and they cleaned up after themselves - even repaired the "popcorn" ceiling so that patch looks just like the rest. They even got along well with my dog. 5 star service!

These guys are excellent. They arrive on schedule, cover everything to protect your house, work quietly, are very honest and polite, and do really great work. The did a great job patching our walls after a rewire and were very respectful compared with others who don't take care to cover up parts of the house where they are working. And if they do have any issues, they clean up so you don't even think they were there, until of course you look at your walls and see their good work. Highly recommend. So happy they are located in Ontario.
