He was punctual with the appointment . He wrote the proposal right away very professional The project did not go thru because something came up . But he was very polite n understanding on my questions. I would ask him for another proposal and call him again if I have a drywall job to be done

I called for an estimate and they were able to schedule one very quickly. They were very prompt and gave me an estimate on site to scrape the original plaster popcorn ceilings in our house and then re-texture. They were very friendly and professional. Their estimate was high, which is the main reason that we didn't ultimately hire them.

I was happy with the work performed; would hire again.

Thor McAndrew did an amazing job drywalling my garage. They made my garage look like the inside of the house. They texture on the walls were so evenly applied, that I can't believe how great it looks! These guys are courteous and professional. Although I have not used their services yet I was impressed by Cody and his brother by their honesty and professionalism as well Thor their father. I am sure when the time comes I will be happy with their work.

The guys were on time, friendly, clean, and did excellent work. I highly recommend and would definitely call them again. I only wish they painted & hung doors so the job could have been completed all at one time. But the work they did do was spot on.

Finish work was excellent. Son's were very professional and cleaned area upon finish. Would hire again.

If you are looking for good Drywallers, these guys are great! We just built a 840 sq ft Granny Flat and last year a two car garage with a workshop on the back. They did the drywall on both buildings. They did a great job and in the Granny Flat, we chose a flat wall surface. Our walls are smooth! They are very fast, efficient, and clean everything when they are done. They do a wonderful job with quality work!

Thor Construction patched and textured a hole in my ceiling and touched up another patch job by another dry wall company. The original company I used did such a poor job and told me that they couldn't patch the hole that Thor Construction ended up fixing for me. Thor is very punctual and their quality of work is excellent. They are very careful with their prep work even before starting. They take care to not dirty or damage other items near the work area.

The provider was very prompt and did excellent work. They arrived exactly when they said they would be arriving and worked steadily throughour both days they were here. When they departed after working each day they left the house immaculate. I n fact they left the hardwood floors cleaner than it was when they arrived. While the price was quite a bit higher than another bid I received from someone not affiliated with Angie's List I decided to hire Thor McAndrew because of their affiliation and I am very happy I did.

Thor responded quickly to my email request for an estimate. He arrived on time and was very positive (we are in the midst of kitchen/bath reno & it's chaos in my house!). He was really thorough in his estimate, asked what we wanted to do with specific elements of the house, offered some great suggestions, and gave me an estimate on the spot. He listened and showed me how they could make my plan happen. He even clarified that we wore face masks when we did the demo because of the lead & asbestos in the walls (old house). His estimate was just a bit above what we had budgeted- we're reworking our budget to see if we can make it work. Super nice guy, totally knows what he's talking about, seems to do high quality work.

He is a general contractor. I was very happy with Thor McAndrew Construction. They were fantastic. They will also be doing my bathroom.

Promptly arrived & did estimate. I agreed to have work done but needed to find someone home during the week so I postponed the work. By the time I settled on a date, it was 2 weeks out, and no Friday open so we negogiated a week-end date. Completed in 3-4 hours. Room looks great!

This is a great company. The only problem was that the price that we paid was their minimum and that is why I gave them a B. Our house is on the market and we were removing some coax cables but they twisted up with our TV cables in the living room area. When we pulled on them a 30 sq inch section of the ceiling caved in on top of our TV. I called a reapable dry waller that was recommended for his work, but he was totally booked up and with the house on the market we did not have the time to wait due to showings. Thor Construction was at the top of Angie's List. Thor came out and gave us the estimate that week and they repaired it on Sunday. The work was accomplished within the time quoted and it was excellent; I could not have asked for better results. The ceiling looks better today than it did before the work was done. We are very pleased.

Cody and Erik were awesome. They told me the timeline and stuck to it. They showed up on time everyday, and were absolute professionals. The work they did was top notch. I am very picky and they got the job done right. They are the type of people I want working for me. Don’t hesitate to hire them.

These guys are the best. They were very responsive, and we set an appointment for them to come look at the job. They gave us a quote, and stated they were able to start the work within our requested time frame. They took two days to apply four coats of plaster to the ceiling, including sanding/finishing, as well as fixing all of the wall cracks. Extremely polite and detail-oriented, I believe they executed the work like it was their own house. The ceiling turned out perfectly smooth, it looks like it was original. We are going to have them come back in the future for additional work - at this point I would not even consider hiring anyone else, the quality of the work is truly artisan quality.

Thor and his son came out to provide an estimate on a drywall repair job. They came out later the same day I phoned for an estimate. They provided me with a quote of $750.00 (I used an Angie's List 5% discount) to replace damaged drywall, resurface and match the texture of the original surface. The day the work was scheduled to be performed, Thor and his two sons arrived as scheduled to complete the work. Thor provided work directions to his two sons and left them to complete the job. They secured the area, covered the floors, ceiling and walls to contain any debris and began their work. It was a small job that began at 8:00 AM and was completed at 11:30 AM. Upon completion, they showed me their work for approval. I was very pleased with the final work. His two sons work well together and they take pride in their work. They matched the original textured surface almost identical. Their bid was slightly higher than others but I saw the quality of work they provided in several photos on their website and read previous posts. I believe in paying for quality work and they did not disappoint. Thanks, guys!

Erik & Cody must make their father proud. They conduct themselves in a highly professional way and their work is outstanding. When you can't tell a repair was done, that is a sign of an experienced professional. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They reconstructed the bathroom wall framing and drywall in order to install 2 medicine cabinets, repaired the back side of the bathroom wall that had also been damaged, repaired a large drywall hole and assorted small holes in a room being readied for painting.

I'd give this company 10 stars if I could! I called Thor McAndrew Construction following some unfinished tenant improvements in an office I recently leased. Plain and simple, the landlord failed to uphold his part of the deal and left me to fix the issue at my own cost. The McAndrew brothers arrived earlier than their appointment time and truly seemed to care about my concerns. They took their time to listen to what I needed done, and above all, they were respectful of the fact that I was having to foot the bill for the work. Cody offered me several options, and when I expressed my anxiety about the extent of the work and its overall cost, he took time out of his own busy schedule to do more research and offer me less expensive options without compromising the quality of the job...all this before even being hired to do the job! Words cannot express how professional, courteous, honest, and considerate the McAndrew brothers are. Quality company with an excellent work ethic...talk about a breath of fresh air!

We have used this company multiple times for drywall installation and they do not disappoint. They are fast, efficient and fair priced. Don't hesitate to call them for your drywall projects!

Exceptional work. Cody and Eric McAndrew are professional, kind and extremely hard workers. The work they did was done on time and looks absolutely amazing. I had 1/2 my house drywalled and can't wait to have them back to do more. They drywalled ceilings and walls for me. I am so happy to come home and look at these walls and would recommend them to anyone who wants the best!

This company did a fantastic job. The ceiling was in horrible shape with pieces of old paint and plaster dangling over the table. They scraped it all off down to the original base plaster which had had cracks and minor water damage. As I understood the explanation, they put a seal on the original plaster then put a nylon webbing over that to keep the new plaster from cracking. They then put four new layers of plaster on the ceiling. It looks terrific and is incredibly smooth. Unfortunately they don't paint so I have to get another contractor for that but they did explain what the painter should do to insure it's done right. We agreed on a 8am starting time and they arrived before 7:30am. The first thing they did was cover all the walls and curtains with plastic as well as the floor. They also covered the service porch floor to the back door so it would get any mess. When they were done and I went to check it out, I was amazed at how clean everything was. I figured I was going to have to mop the floor after they left but it was clean as a whistle and there wasn't any dust or debris that had gotten into the main kitchen. Even the curtains were still clean. I really, really appreciated that. Too bad other contractors aren't as fastidious about clean up. The two young men that did the work (sons of the owner Thor McAndrew) were very nice and friendly. I thanked them for taking on such a small job and they said they loved small jobs. A couple of other contractors weren't even interested. I've got other work that needs to be done and you can bet I will call this company again.

Arrived promptly, sealed off work area to keep dust away from area. Patched hole and texturized ceiling. They cleaned up area. Quick, clean and professional. You can't even see the are that is patched. You can Will use them again. Will refer to friends.

Absolutely great. Cody and Eric, the two brothers who operate the company, were awesome from the very beginning when I called to get an estimate. Here's how it went beginning to end: 1) Phone call - answered and set appointment for estimate (same day) 2) Appointment for Estimate - on time and professional 3) Scheduled Job for 8:00am - arrived at 7:55am 4) Prep work - masked off and draped all work areas 5) The Job - Great, you would never know I had 18 holes in my walls/ceilings! 6) Clean up - Thorough and complete...like they were never here I probably shouldn't say this in a public form, but I had small 2 areas that were not quoted on during the estimate and the fixed them for free (don't tell them I shared that!). These guys did a great job, I would highly recommend them.

Moved or covered everything for us. Plastic sheeting everywhere. There is always dust with this type of project but the prep and work they put into just getting started really saves mess or loss of furniture, flooring, carpets or tile. So very courteous, always on time or have a phone call telling you there plans for the day. We had the plumbing company who did our bath room use their plaster repair person, before the job was even done I called Thor McAndrew Construction in a panic because of the awful job that was done, they came in and rescued the remodel within the day, and I have a beautiful bathroom because of the work they put in. (with no mess).

They are wonderful...Excellent job, on time and great cleanup! We will be hiring them again!!
